How to Record a Cleaner Voice Note Before You Share It

A clear recording starts before you press record. Move away from fans, open windows, and hard reflective corners where possible. Put the microphone close enough to hear your voice without forcing you to speak loudly, then make a short test recording.
Listen for the problem you can actually fix
Play the test through the device your recipient is likely to use. If speech is quiet, move closer rather than simply increasing volume. If peaks crackle, speak a little farther away. If a fan is louder than the words, change the room or pause it.
Trim the context, not the meaning
Remove long setup pauses and unrelated chatter, but leave enough lead-in for a listener to understand the subject. Label the file with a date and topic before sharing. A short recording that states its purpose is more useful than a perfect recording with no context.
